Loved this game as a kid! The whole Barbarian feel! Few games let you smash monsters face with a morning star!

There was Rastan, Gladiator, and Hippodrome, all at the same time.
I don't remember Rastan being this technically simple a game, though. There was way more advanced stuff in 1987.

I was such a huge Conan the Barbarian fan when I was a kid in the 80s this game was the closest thing to being Conan as you could get.One of the coolest soundtracks ever made for a video game too.the arcade and spacie parlours were like a shrine for kids growing up.we would walk 2 hours to the city to play one game and then walk home.kids these days don't even know what it's like to have to wait in line just to play your favorite game.everyones coins lined up on the screen waiting for their turn, hoping the guy in front of you doesn't play like a beast.good days and great memories.

I have very fond memories of this game, growing up as a kid getting dragged to the grocery store with your parents was only fun if the had video games over by the checkout. I remember begging my mother for quarters to play this game over and over every time we went, I never got good enough to finish it. Is there a home version of this out there? I would love to play it again 🙂

I remember playing this game a long time ago at a movie theater. I couldn't even get past the first level. I think i kept falling into the first thing of water.

I barely beat the SMS version of this game. I can't only beat it with the infinite continues trick. I didn't really realize how much it was inspired by Conan either.

If I could have seen this playthrough as a kid I would have shit my pants. I could never even reach the second part of the first level… I can't even blame my mom for cutting me off after two quarters, I was an embarrassment.

Kratos could learn a lot from Rastan and from Kuros. Monster can go down from swinging an iron age weapon at them. Button combinations are unnecessary.

i dont remember the bosses being so easy to kill. 5 or 6 hits?
i do remember those damn bats that would surround you if you took too long in a area. I was only 9 so that shit killed my little stack of quarters.
